Art Description

“Big Mon” is a song written by Bill Monroe in 1958. “WSM” are the call numbers for the Nashville radio station that is the home of the Grand Ole Opry broadcasts, and often performers are shown performing at the Opry with a microphone with these letters on it.

Titled on front. “To Jim/Da Lilyman/Rock & Roll/Bluegrass/from/Big Mon/God Bless You, Big Chief” on back.
