About

Museum Hours: The Museum is in the process of being moved to The Alliance  in Siler City.

The Small Museum of Folk Art includes pieces from such notable local artists as Clyde Jones, Vollis Simpson, Jimmy Lee Sudduth, and Virgil Lee Johnson, an emerging outsider artist. The collection was originally a gift of more than 400 folk art pieces that had been gathered over a 30 year period. The museum, which is  located on the same property as the Small B&B Café, is eco-friendly, has water reclamation, and is constructed from reclaimed and salvaged materials. We are excited to be able to show this collection and give adults and children alike the chance to see what its like to follow your passion.

We are a 501c3 organization whose mission is to inspire a growing interest in the local arts, provide educational opportunities, continue to strengthen the local arts community, and serve as a destination point for downtown Pittsboro.
